Hilton Worldwide has announced the signing of a management agreement to open its first Doubletree by Hilton in Egypt in 2017.
The 197-room property located in Ain Al Sokhna will be part of a mixed-use residential and leisure development.
Facilities will include all-day dining and five further food and drinks outlets, a fitness centre and swimming pools.
It will also feature a multi-functional 200 sqm meeting room, boardroom and business centre.
Rudi Jagersbacher, Hilton Worldwide president, Middle East and Africa, said: "Our Hilton Worldwide portfolio stretches across the country, and we are delighted to be announcing our first Doubletree by Hilton in Ain Al Sokhna, which benefits from its close proximity to the major infrastructure investments in Suez as well as for its appeal as a leisure destination."
Hilton has signed a management agreement for the hotel with the Asala For Investment and Touristic Development Company.
Hilton Worldwide currently has 18 hotels in Egypt, with a further five under development, including Hilton Alexandria Kings Ranch, which is due to open in May 2015.
