Hilton is to open Poland”s largest conference hotel in March of this year. The 29-storey Hilton Warsaw Hotel and Convention Centre will have 3,000sq m (9,843sq ft) of flexible business event space, which the hotel group stresses is twice the amount of any hotel meeting space now available.
The main feature of the hotel is the Warsaw Hall, a 1,406sq m (4,613sq ft) pillar-less ballroom with floor to ceiling glass along the length of one wall, which is designed for large-scale launches and conventions. Guest-Tec-provided wireless and wired internet access is available for up to 1000 users logging on simultaneously, although the room can house up to 1,850 delegates.
The ballroom can be divided into five sections, with an adjacent 520sq m (1,706sq ft) room for display purposes or breakout meetings. Hilton guarantees that these smaller divisions (with a capacity for 750) can be transformed from a meeting or conference facility into a dining area in a maximum time of 60 minutes.
14 separate meeting rooms with all the business essentials are another feature of the hotel, along with a business centre with colour printers, faxes, copiers and PCs with internet access.
Technology continues in the guest rooms, all 314 of which have 27” LCD screens and the Conference Manager software that delivers real-time event information directly to your screen.
