Hilton Worldwide is to open a new property in Dubai close to Al Maktoum International airport.
Due to open in early 2019, the hotel will be located close to the main passenger entrance of the airport and to the venue of Dubai Expo 2020.
The 535-room Hilton Dubai World Central spanning seven floors will include a large multifunctional ballroom, eight meeting rooms and six board rooms. Leisure facilities will include a spa, fitness centre and two swimming pools.
Hilton made the announcement after signing a management agreement with the Hospitality Division of the Mohammad Omar Bin Haider Holding Group to open Hilton Dubai World Central (DWC).
Rudi Jagersbacher, Hilton Worldwide's Middle East and Africa president, said: "We are delighted to be once again at the forefront of the industry, with the addition of our flagship Hilton brand in DWC.
"Across the Middle East and Africa, Hilton Worldwide expects to open an average of one hotel per month over the course of the next few years and plans to more than double our portfolio here in Dubai."
