Hilton Worldwide has launched a new collection brand for its lifestyle portfolio, called Outset Collection by Hilton, which is designed for independent boutique hotels.
Outset Collection, which becomes Hilton's 25th brand, is designed to allow for a flexible set of experiences and amenities offered.
"For example, food and beverage offerings will vary across the brand, based on market demand, guest sentiment or hotel experience, ranging from cafes with light bites to full lunch and dinner concepts," explained Hilton in a statement.
Hilton confirmed that the first member of Outset Collection will be The Acme Hotel in Chicago, a 130-room lifestyle property, which was formerly aligned with BWH Hotels' WorldHotels collection.
The Acme will be available for booking through Hilton's distribution channels from November, a Hilton spokesperson confirmed to BTN.
Hilton said in a statement that the brand had "more than 60 hotels in development" with "long-term growth potential of more than 500 hotels across the United States and Canada alone".
Initially targeting the US, Hilton said the Outset Collection would seek properties "in places guests might not expect, ranging from urban destinations, small towns, adventure outposts and offbeat hubs".
Properties joining the Outset Collection will be bookable through Hilton's distribution channels and participate in its Honors loyalty programme.
