A subsidiary of Hilton Hotels Corporation has signed an agreement to mange the Hilton Beijing Capital Airport, scheduled to open in late 2008 at the newly opened Terminal 3.
It will also be close to the China International Exhibition Centre, which opened in March this year and is expected to further enhance Beijing”s reputation as a key MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions) destination.
”This signing marks the latest development in our expansion plans in China,” said Hilton Hotels Corporation president Koos Klein. ”With a significant boost in visitor arrivals anticipated with the Olympic Games, we are well positioned to ensure our guests can rely on the Hilton experience during this dynamic time and beyond.”

Featuring in the 324-guestroom hotel will be five restaurants, a bar, an 800 sq m (8,600 sq ft) ballroom and 1,600 sq m of meeting rooms.
Terminal 3 is dedicated to international flights, including all of Air China”s services.
