MARRIOTT has opened a new Courtyard hotel, its first in Belgium, just three miles from Brussels National Airport and much the same from the city centre.
The seven-storey, 191-room property features WiFi (wireless Internet access) in public areas and meeting spaces, a business centre, on-site parking, information desk, gift shop, laundry valet service and rental car service.
For recreation, the hotel provides a state-of-the-art health club with two saunas.
Besides a restaurant the hotel has what it calls a ”grab-and-go food” market.
Meanwhile in central Asia, Marriott is to manage two brand new Renaissance properties in Kazakhstan when they open next year at Aktau located on the Caspian Sea and the country's largest port, and Atyrau on the mouth of the Ural River on the north coast of the Caspian Sea in western Kazakhstan.
Once a regional fish processing centre, Atyrau is now the country”s oil capital.
