Budget chain Easyhotel will open its 20th property worldwide on December 1, a 132-room hotel in Germany’s financial hub Frankfurt.
The property is located within five minutes' walk of the city’s main railway station, and features room starting from €29, with facilities including air-conditioning and ensuite shower rooms, and additional extras such as TV and wifi internet access available for a fee.
Easyhotel Frankfurt is the second property by the budget chain in Germany, joining the Easyhotel Berlin Hackescher Markt which opened in 2010.
The group reopened its Glasgow property (which had previously operated under a franchise agreement before closing in May 2013) at the start of 2014, and is set to add a Croydon hotel to its portfolio of London properties later this year.
In June Stelios Haji-Ioannou, founder of Easyjet, announced he would list Easyhotel on the stock exchange as he plans a major expansion of the budget hotel chain.
