BUDAPEST has seen the re-opening of the historic 19th century deluxe Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal, a landmark redevelopment in the heart of the city. Universally known as the Grand Hotel Royal the property enjoys a special place in the hearts of Hungarians, a landmark property since its first opening in 1896. Now owned by International Hotel Investments (IHI) plc the building has been restored over the last two years at a cost of E100m.
