US-based serviced apartment company Churchill Living has joined the Orbital Partnership (OP), an online marketplace offering live availability and booking of apartments for corporate clients.
OP is owned by Citybase Apartments and can be used by corporate clients to check availability and prices of apartments, and they will also receive live confirmations and be sent management information (MI) on bookings.
Buyers can also have their corporate rates with specific suppliers loaded into the system.
Churchill Living brings more than 67 locations in nine US cities to the OP network. The agreement means European and American corporate buyers, bookers and travellers now have access to inventory across both markets and are able to book instantly through OP’s technology.
Citybase’s sales director Gary Hurst said Churchill’s decision to join OP was a significant moment in the growth of the network: “To have such a prominent US brand in our virtual marketplace demonstrates we can attract the best product around the world.
“The growth of the network allows partners to build closer links with their regular and new customers by offering accommodation across global markets,” he said.
OP now has more than 30,000 apartments available on the site with plans to increase this to more than 100,000 units within three years.
