Bridgestreet Global Hospitality has unveiled a collaboration with Airbnb.
The serviced apartment operator will align with the shared economy firm to expand their newly launched Airbnb for Business product with Bridgestreet’s client base.
Airbnb’s travel management suite allows companies to book accommodation for larger groups, longer stays, relocations and meeting spaces. It also teamed up with expense management firm Concur.
Bridgestreet CEO Sean Worker said the company “maintains a pulse” on travellers’ habits to identify how it can better serve traveller needs.
“Bridgestreet is a leader in the corporate housing and serviced apartment sector, and we viewed Airbnb as a natural choice to link up with as they have certainly helped redefine the travel industry,” said Worker.
“Through our partnership, we will strategically position our services to Airbnb’s untapped corporate travel audience, while we offer a broader array of experiences to our client base -- it’s incredibly intuitive.”
Last month, at the BBT Editor’s Lunch event a group of buyers expressed concern about the increased interest from travellers in the use of shared economy providers such as Airbnb.
