Best Western has expanded its UK portfolio with the addition of two hotels: The Best Western Victoria Palace (London) and the Best Western Castle Inn (Cumbria).
The two newly acquired properties take the total number of Best Western hotels in the UK to 293.
The new London hotel is a three-star 43-room building, a short walk from Victoria”s train and coach stations. The Best Western Castle Inn Hotel is located near Keswick in the Lake District with views over the fells and Bassenthwaite Lake. Although primarily targeted at the leisure market, the hotel also has conference facilities for up to 150 delegates.
Best Western director of membership services Keith Pope said: ”Hotels join Best Western to benefit from becoming associated with the world”s largest hotel brand. By taking advantage of the distribution, revenue, sales and marketing expertise member hotels can successfully compete with larger hotel chains, whilst retaining their individuality and independence.”
