Counter terrorism expert David Parkes has been named as the keynote speaker at this month’s Buying Business Travel Forum in London.
Parkes, who is detective sergeant of the National Counter Terrorism Security office at the Metropolitan Police, will offer advice on keeping you and your travellers safe in a crowded space.
He will be providing actionable takeaways that travel managers can implement into their programme. Parkes will also be sharing a safety video aimed specifically at corporate buyers.
The forum takes place on May 19 at London’s Grange City Hotel with the theme of the event around effective engagement to maximise compliance. It follows the recent attacks in Brussels which gave us another sobering reminder that security alerts and travel disruption are now common occurrence for many travellers.
So join us as we bring together travel managers and procurement professionals to hear practical steps and examples of how to best manage travel disruption with discussions on:
- Communicating through crisis
- Managing travel disruption
- Payment and virtual credit cards - Tools to help you to prevent/capture out of policy spend
- Thinking differently for better compliance
