Hilton has opened its fifth hotel in China, the Hilton Hefei in the rapidly growing capital of the Anhui Province. The hotel is designed to be a ”getaway from the city in the city” for business travellers and city residences. The 26-storey property has 561 rooms and is located in the new Railway Business Development Area along Shengli Road, three minutes from the new train station and 20 minutes from Luogang Airport.
Guest rooms have expansive views over the city, deluxe bathrooms with rain showers, broadband internet access and flat screen LCD television sets. The hotel also has a 6,000 sq m (19,685 sq ft) spa, with a fully equipped gym, tennis courts, relaxation lounges with private TVs, 26 treatment rooms and 12 deluxe private spa suites.
Commenting on the new hotel, general manager Luc Bollen said: ”Hefei is a thriving industrial centre for Anhui and plays host to savvy business travellers, who expect first-rate services. The team at Hilton Hefei is excited by the opportunity to redefine the standard for well-appointed hotels in the city.”
