SAUDI ARABIA AND ALGERIA are back on the OK list for non-essential travel issued by the British Foreign Office. Tour operators will now be able to resume package trips to these countries. The change follows the relaxation of advice to Bali, a much more popular holiday destination than Saudi Arabia and Algeria. Bookings to the Indonesian resort are expected to get back to some form of normality in the coming months. However Saudi Arabia must be considered as somewhat ”dodgy” and, whilst Algeria has in the past attracted British tourism interest, high levels of petty crime still act as a detriment against travel.
