The first Principal Hayley overseas venues are due to open this autumn in Paris and Barcelona.
The 150-room hotel and 30-meeting room Château Saint just is located in Belle Eglise, 45km to the north of the capital and 20 minutes from Charles de Gaulle Airport. Set in 17 hectares of parkland, the contemporary property will combine the latest technology and amenities with stunning surroundings.
The second venue, scheduled to open in September, is 25 minutes from the centre of Barcelona. located adjacent to the St llorenc de Munt national park and next to the Royal Golf Club, the la Mola will offer 186 four-star rooms and a total of 26 meeting suites.
Principal Hayley's portfolio currently comprises 20 properties offering a combined capacity of over 3,400 bedrooms, 450 meeting rooms and the ability to handle in excess of 20,000 delegates a day. Hotels include the Russell in London; Selsdon Park, near Croydon; The George, Edinburgh; The Met, Leeds; Eastwood Hall, Nottingham; Hawkstone Park, Shropshire; and St David's Hotel, Cardiff.
Paul Nisbett has taken over as chief operating officer at Principal Hayley Hotels and Conference Venues. Nisbett joins from Malmaison and Hotel du Vin, where he was commercial director, having previously held positions at Forte, Hilton, Red Carnation Hotels and Starwood's le Meridien UK.
