MOROCCO seems to be gaining popularity as a resort holiday destination from the UK. GB Airways, under the guise of British Airways, is to introduce a twice-weekly service to Fez from 2 November. The airline already flies to Casablanca and Marrakech from London all year round, to Agadir during the winter months only and to Tangier in the summer months. Flights to Fez will operate during the winter months. Agadir, on the country”s Atlantic coast, and popular with German and Scandinavian holidaymakers, will now also have charter flights by First Choice Airways during this coming winter. Initially two a week from Gatwick, the plan is to double the services for next summer and add Birmingham and Manchester, with four a week in the summer and five in the winter from November 2005.
