MICROSOFT has launched a product that will probably become the norm for all business travellers, and others, over the next couple of years. We are all now familiar with passwords for entering websites, the problem is remembering them. It is OK when the user sets the code but if the other party gives out the magic letters or figures (or a combination) there can be difficulties. Microsoft”s new range of keyboards has a fingerprint reader set in. You just go to the site that you want to get into the first time, fingerprint the password, and the next time you want to get in just put your thumb on the keyboard reader element. It does not work with bank codes and anything else with a rolling security setup but for standard run of the mill security life is made easy.
