LONDON 2012 has appointed Keith Mills, best known in the airline industry as the man who set up the successful Air Miles incentive travel scheme, as chief executive, charged with winning the Olympics bid. Keith, 53, is the founder and now non-executive chairman of Loyalty Management UK (LMUK), the company which runs Nectar, the UK's largest reward programme which has just celebrated its first anniversary. Prior to founding the Air Miles business, Keith had over 20 years experience in marketing and advertising. In 1999 he was one of the crew that won the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
