I N C I D E N T A L L Y: Hotel Problems
We heard a tale last week involving one of London”s most superior hotel properties.
It seems that a high spending Japanese guest had descended upon the concierge with two faxes and an instruction not to get them mixed up.
A day or so later he retrieved the paperwork, each marked with a telephone receipt.
He went white, rushed out of the hotel and has not been seen since.
When the hotel”s Japanese chef arrived somewhat later he was asked to read the aforementioned pieces of paper.
It seems that one was addressed to the wife and the other to the girlfriend!
