We are reminded of a true story from back in 1997 when some Japanese fishermen were rescued from their sinking craft and complained that it has been hit amidships by a flying cow.
To much saki?
It was not until several days later that the Russian authorities had to admit misdemeanours by that nations air force.
It would seem that an aircrew of an Ilyushin 76 cargo aircraft had spotted a nice fat cow wandering close by an airport fence. That will make for a nice lunch and some profit said the captain. The unfortunate cow was bundled up the ramp into the aircraft capricious hold.
Now Russian military aircrew are not trained to look after large animals and at some point the (silly) cow got loose and started to rampage around the aircraft.
Well there was only one way out of that dilemma.
Hence the flying cow!
