I N C I D E N T A L L Y: Globalisation
This is a thoughtful one which may cause some reflection and truly sums up the world of Globalisation?
It concerns the death of Princess Diana and demonstrates the G word.
Question: How come you may well ask?
The answer is simple: An English princess, born a commoner, is involved in a fatal crash in a French tunnel with her Egyptian boyfriend, both passengers in a German car with a Dutch engine, driven by a Belgian who was drunk on Scottish whisky, followed closely by Italian Paparazzi, on Japanese motorcycles, and treated by an American doctor, using Brazilian medicines!
And this was sent in by an American, using Bill Gates' technology.
You are probably reading it on one of the IBM clones that use Taiwanese-made chips, and Korean-made monitors, assembled by Bangladeshi workers in a Singapore plant, transported by lorries driven by Indians, hijacked by Iraqis, unloaded by Sicilian longshoremen, trucked by Bosnian illegal immigrants, and finally sold to you.
That is the world of Globalisation.
