Air fares and hotel rates are likely to rise "moderately" in all regions in 2011, Advito, BCD Travel's consulting arm, has predicted.
In a third quarter update on its 2010 Industry Forecast, the analyst says the increases may not be as large as those imposed this year.
Advito forecasts air fare rises next year of 2-7% in North America and Europe, 4-5% in Latin America and Asia-Pacific, 3-6% in the M idle East and 2-5% in Africa.
It also warned that "strong demand" for intercontinental travel would continue to drive up fares in2011.
On hotels, Advito said 2010 average daily rates (ADR) would stay the same as in 2010, except in China, Singapore and Hong Kong where rates were likely to rise.
But it warned buyers that there could be variations within regions and even between cities in the same market.
It said there had already been significant rises in ADR in the second quarter in markets among which were France, the Netherlands, the US and China.
For 2011, it said because of macroeconomic growth and a "rebound in the meetings sector", London Hong Kong and New York could experience "low double digit growth."
On ground transport, Advito said car rental had started to rise mid-way through 2010.
But pricing had "remained relatively stable" because of aggressive competition.
It also predicted that high speed rail would continue to grow in corporate travel programmes.
