The Business Travel Show is offering 10 free stands for ‘start-ups’ at the event’s new Launch Pad area in February.
The Launch Pad will also host the Travel Technology Disrupt Awards, a competition for companies exhibiting at Business Travel Show and sister event Travel Technology Europe.
Following a public vote to decide a shortlist, finalists will take part in Dragon’s Den style pitching session during the show. The winner, who will be crowned on February 25 2016, will receive a three-hour consultancy session with travel technology entrepreneur and investor Matt Zito and the Travel Start Ups Incubator advisory team and a free exhibition stand at Business Travel Show 2017 show worth £8,000.
Business Travel Show event director David Chapple said: “The travel industry is one of the most dynamic in the world. Without innovation we wouldn’t have aeroplanes never mind online booking or the sharing economy.
“We have always strived to support innovation and this year we are taking things one step further by offering young enterprises to exhibit for free and to showcase their innovation to 7,500 industry professionals at Europe’s leading corporate travel event.”
