Uber for Business has signed a new partnership with Australia-based travel agency group Flight Centre Travel Group to offer an “enhanced” ground travel experience for business travellers.
The tie-up will see corporate travellers in Australia having their Uber for Business bookings integrated into their expense management, finance and duty-of-care systems.
Ronnie Gurion, global head of Uber for Business, said “Australian business travellers love the magic and simplicity of Uber. Our partnership with the Flight Centre Travel Group brings that experience directly to their customers, with analytics and policy controls to complement our unique user experience.
“As the largest travel provider in Australia, we’re excited by the value this partnership brings to the Flight Centre Travel Group and our mutual customers.”
Uber for Business, which has been operating since August 2015, is used by around 65,000 business travellers across the world. Earlier this year, Uber announced it would be testing flying taxis in Melbourne from 2020.
