Sabre has agreed a partnership with Norway-based tech start-up Travelin.AI that will see the latter’s booking platform for blended travel added to the SabreMosaic Travel Marketplace.
Travelin.AI's online tool allows travellers to book leisure and corporate travel in one booking flow while automatically separating the expenses with a proprietary split-payment engine.
Through the partnership, Travelin.AI customers will also gain access to air and hotel content in SabreMosaic, including new ‘Lodging AI’ capabilities, which provide personalised hotel options based on traveller preferences and suggests accommodation when flights are booked without a hotel, according to Sabre.
The companies said the agreement will help travel management companies increase hotel attachment rates and capture additional leisure volume.
“The ability for TMCs and their corporate customers to book business trips with leisure components opens access to a $1 trillion market,” said Richard Viner, head of Sabre UK and Ireland. “In EMEA we see strong potential to raise hotel attach rates, and this agreement helps TMCs boost revenue and bookings while strengthening duty of care.”
Travelin.AI plans to launch these expanded capabilities with TMCs in the UK, US, Germany, the Nordics and Australia. Onboarding can be completed in minutes, according to the companies.
