Business and financial management solutions provider Nexonia has launched an integrated travel and expense management solution for companies of all sizes.
Nexonia Travel is the first major product launch for the company since it was acquired by Certify last year and is based on booking technology from Nutravel, which was also purchased by Certify.
Available as a desktop and mobile application, Nexonia Travel allows business travellers and travel managers to book airfare, hotel, car rental and rail within their company’s policy. If a traveller attempts to book something outside of the guidelines, they will receive alerts via email and their mobile device.
The system is all automated, allowing travel managers to spend more time on higher-level tasks such as negotiating new rates with suppliers.
Nexonia Travel can also be integrated with Nexonia Expenses to give companies greater visibility of travel spend.
Each user can also personalise their account with preferences and the platform will make recommendations based on travel history. It also allows for direct booking with North American-based suppliers such as Southwest Airlines, Air Canada, Amtrak and VIA Rail Canada.
Bob Neveu, CEO of Certify, said: “We’re very excited to launch Nexonia Travel, a solution that brings enterprise-grade travel booking tools to companies large and small. Business travellers today expect travel booking to be quick and easy – the same as all their online experiences – and Nexonia Travel accomplishes that, while ensuring that corporate travel policies are observed.”
