Switzerland-based travel group Dertour Suisse has agreed a new partnership with data specialist Travelogix.
The “multi-year” deal will see Dertour’s two Swiss TMC brands – bta first travel and Finass Reisen – use Travelogix’s data management and reporting platform, Analytix, as well as the DataValet+ and DataSharePRO modules.
Travelogix will also develop a custom ETL (extract, transform, load) process tailored specifically to Dertour Suisse, which it said will ensure “accurate, timely and consistent data ingestion across multiple source systems”.
Jürg Bühler, head of applications and development at Dertour Suisse, said: “This collaboration enables us to establish a scalable, company-wide data and reporting foundation across our diverse portfolio of business travel brands. It significantly enhances our ability to make faster, more transparent and data-driven decisions across the organisation.
Chris Lewis, Travelogix’s founder and CEO, added: “This partnership marks a significant strategic milestone for Travelogix. It reinforces our ability to support large, multi-entity TMCs with flexible, customer-specific data solutions and strengthens our position in the DACH region.”
The UK-based data specialist had previously inked a deal with Switzerland-based Kuoni Business Travel, whose parent company Hotelplan Group was acquired by Dertour in December. The Kuoni Business Travel brand was later phased out, with operations merged into bta first travel earlier this year.
