CWT has unveiled further details of its $100 million investment in the myCWT travel management platform.
The travel management company said the first tranche of the investment, which was announced in November 2021, will go towards new capabilities to be introduced in the coming months.
Investment has been earmarked for responsible travel initiatives as well as enhancing platform connectivity to improve the digital experience for travel managers and travellers.
Funds will also go into expanding the platform’s content to ensure travellers have options and flexibility and to suit travel programme needs.
John Pelant, EVP and chief technology officer, CWT, said: “We are laser-focused on honing our digital-first proposition, delivering integrated solutions that delight travellers and demonstrate experience excellence. It gives us the opportunity to accelerate platform development and innovation, while continuing to deliver the most advanced digital products and experience available in corporate travel today.”
The investment strategy builds on enhancements to the myCWT platform announced last December which aimed to help travellers get back on the road.
