American Express Meetings and Events (Amex M&E) has announced partnership agreements with event technology companies Doubledutch, Attendify and Splash.
The Doubledutch agreement is an extension of an existing partnership and will see Amex M&E – a division of American Express Global Business Travel – use the company’s mobile attendee experience solutions for clients with “mature and robust” meetings and events programmes.
Doubledutch’s event management platform creates attendee experiences to encourage networking. As part of the new deal, the technology’s engagement data is now available within Meetings Insights, Amex M&E’s centralised data platform. This results in insights and reporting around individual events as well as across an entire meetings programme.
Additionally, the new agreement allows for the integration of travel data into event apps to create a “one-stop shop” for attendees travelling to an event, as well as personalised content, safety check prompts and advanced surveys.

Meanwhile, Attendify offers technology solutions for Amex M&E clients with simpler meeting requirements, including an app creator and a data analytics platform that enables engagement with attendees. Through these apps, attendees can access agendas and presentations, speaker and sponsor information and more.
Lastly, Splash allows event planners to launch, promote and scale event programmes through consolidated attendee management and customised event marketing. They can maximise the ROI of their events by driving the right people to them with Splash’s smart guest list, responsive event pages and emails, as well as on-site check-in functionality. It also enables real-time data capturing.

The partnerships come after Amex M&E launched a new platform to help users source smaller meetings.
