Travel partnership company Amber Road has announced a partnership with delay repay service Railguard.
Railguard, which won the GTMC’s Entrepreneurs In Business Travel Awards earlier this year, allows travellers to claim compensation on all UK train operating companies if their train is delayed, as well as full compensation in the event of a full cancellation. The company claims this can save clients up to £600 per traveller per year.
Amber Road (formerly CTI) will now make Railguard available to clients across a wide range of industry sectors and sizes. It will be piloted with a selection of clients over the coming months before being rolled out to all customers in the future.
The service joins a host of technological advancements Amber Road has made in the last 12 months, including the introduction of Travelport as its GDS partner and the inclusion of NDC fares through its online booking tool Plannet.
