Content aggregator TPConnects has partnered with AI booking platform Cumbaya to provide air content for its bookings, the companies announced.
Cumbaya, which says it works with both corporate travel management companies as well as leisure-focused agencies, is using TPConnects' Iris platform as its air content engine.
Iris provides access to global distribution system, low-cost carrier and New Distribution Capability content from a single source, and Cumbaya said the connection along with its AI capabilities can help TMCs and agencies quickly build "hyper-personalised itineraries."
"Automating complex, multi-destination trip building has unique infrastructure requirements," Cumbaya co-founder and chief technology officer Sven Hermans said in a statement.
"Evaluating multiple routing options, pricing scenarios and policy constraints simultaneously. TPConnects Iris provides a modern API with global coverage that supports AI decision-making at speed”.
Cumbaya reports FCM, Lufthansa City Center and Uniglobe as users and said it is working to scale its technology globally.
