Navan has established an "enhanced API integration" with Booking.com, which the travel and expense platform on Thursday (22 January) said will unlock more inventory and rates for users.
The updated direct integration with Booking.com adds lodging content in "off-the-beaten-path destinations" to the Navan platform, according to the company.
"Through our partnership with Navan, we're expanding business travellers' choices by giving them access to our expansive inventory of work-friendly hotels and homes," Booking.com director of commercial partnerships Thibaut Leroux said in a statement.
In addition, Navan said the connection gives the ability to combine Booking.com's mobile discounts with Navan's closed user group pricing. It also streamlines the payment process for Booking.com bookings, the company said.
Navan said the API connection brings the opportunity for future enhancements as well, such as creating "work-friendly" tags so users can see which non-hotel properties on the platform could fit their travel needs.
