Siva Ramachandran
Canadian global wholesale travel consolidator Voyzant has named former airline executive Siva Ramachandran as SVP of its business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) as the company looks for expansion in the region.
Voyzant, which includes travel management company Voyzant Corporate Travel among its brands, recently opened a new office in London where Ramachandran will be based.
Ramachandran has worked for several airlines during his four decades in the industry, including Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Jet Airways, Kingfisher Airlines, Nigerian carrier Arik Air and Sri Lankan Airlines, where he was chief commercial officer.
Voyzant said that the EMEA region will be a "primary engine” for its global operations starting in 2026.
"These are complex, high-growth regions where success depends on deep local relationships and a genuine understanding of the travel ecosystem," added Voyzant’s CEO Chippy Jegathesan in a statement.
"Rama's exceptional track record of leading successful expansions for major carriers, combined with his vast network and respected reputation, makes him the ideal leader to guide our next phase of growth."
