Executive ground transportation company TBR Global has appointed Colin O’Keefe as its new chief operating officer.
Working closely with regional leaders in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia-Pacific and The Americas, O’Keefe will be responsible for “streamlining” TBR’s global operations.
He will report to TBR chief executive Michael O’Hare and joins as the company starts an “aggressive global growth strategy”.
O’Keefe joins TBR from the Avis Budget Group where he was regional manager of sales and account management for Scotland.
He has spent around 25 years in the travel and automotive sectors, working for companies that include: Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), National Car Rental, Sabre Travel Network, Budget Car Rental UK, Europcar and General Motors (GM).
Michael O’Hare, the chief executive of TBR Global, said: “Colin joins at a crucial time. The business has grown rapidly over recent years.
“We are, therefore, focused on streamlining internal operations in preparation for another period of expansion and sustained growth. Colin’s role will be central to our future success.”
TBR Global is a global operation headquartered in Glasgow, with bases in Dubai, Hong Kong, Boston, London and Shanghai.
