Suzanne Neufang has been appointed as the new general manager for GetThere, part of Sabre Travel Network.
Neufang has been with the company for seven years, previously working as GetThere's chief marketing officer and Sabre Travel Network's vice president of corporate segment strategy.
Sabre is active in 79 countries - in 2009 corporations booked more than US$9 billion in business travel on GetThere.
Greg Webb, president of Sabre Travel Network, said: "Suzanne is a recognised innovator in the business travel community, and she is the right person to guide GetThere as the leading provider of travel and collaboration management technologies for corporations."
Neufang, who lives in Texas, holds a masters degree in communications from the University of Hawaii-Manoa, and a bachelor's degree from Minot State University (North Dakota).
