British Midland International (BMI) has appointed Stuart Beamish as head of marketing and product.
His new role, which started on January 1, will see him leading BMI’s global marketing strategy.
Beamish, who has more than 15 years of commercial experience, has previously worked for British Airways and Virgin Holidays, and is a graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University.
For the last two years Beamish has worked as an independent marketing consultant and most recently held the post of interim GM loyalty and insight at Virgin Holidays. Beamish entered the travel industry through BA's graduate scheme, in 1995. He spent 13 years with the company in various positions including customer service, sales and marketing roles. Most recently he was head of global relationship marketing.
