Chandler steps down as easyJet chairman
Sir Colin Chandler is to step down as chairman of easyJet on July 1.
His place will be taken on an interim basis by Sir David Michels, currently a senior independent director and a former ceo of Hilton International, until a permanent successor is found.
The low cost carrier also announced that Sir Michael Rake is to join the board as deputy chairman.
Sir Colin has been chairman since 2002.
