Singapore Airlines' Mohamed Rafi Mar
Mohamed Rafi Mar has been named as
the new general manager for Singapore Airlines in the UK and Ireland. Mar
replaces Sheldon Hee, who has returned to the airline’s head office,
having held the role since April 2016.
Mar was previously vice president commercial
and vice president cargo sales and marketing with SilkAir during the integration
of the regional subsidiary into Singapore Airlines.
He will be based at Singapore
Airlines’ London office in Chiswick. The UK team numbers 100 employees.
