Park Plaza appoints South Bank GMs
Park Plaza Hotels has appointed two new general managers at its South Bank properties in London.
Simon Mahon will head the Park Plaza County Hall while Greg Hegarty will take over at both the four-star Park Plaza Riverbank London and the five-star Plaza on the River Club and Residence.
Mr Mahon previously spent two years as general manager of the London County Hall Premier Inn before becoming area manager for Whitbread in London and the South East of England.
He has more than 15 years' experience having held roles in hotels in Edinburgh, Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool.
Mr Hegarty was general manager at the Park Plaza County Hall and the Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes before taking up his new role on the South Bank.
He then moved to BDL Hotels as group operations manager in 2007, before returning to Park Plaza.
