Iconic venue operator Searcys has appointed Matt Thomas as managing director.
He will start with the brand from November 1 and will oversee a handover period from the out-going managing director, Chris Maddison.
Maddison joined Searcys in 2010 as sales and marketing director before moving into his current role in April 2014. Whilst as managing director he led the integration of Searcys with WSH.
Thomas joins Searcys having held a number of positions within WSH. He said: ‘This brand remains both timeless and elegant. I am excited by the future of Searcys and we will remain fully focussed on delivering wonderful food and great service, in iconic surroundings.
“We will also stay true to the values with which have long been held important, in turn caring for our teams and guests. It is these things and more that will allow us to realise our full potential in the years ahead.”
