Rosewood Hotel Group has promoted Lucy Werner to the role of chief commercial officer as the company continues its plans for global growth.
Werner, who joined Rosewood in November 2021 as senior vice president of commercial, will focus on sales, marketing, distribution, revenue management, digital and customer experience to achieve “ambitious growth over the next few years”.
She has more than 20 years of global experience in business development, digital, sales and operations, and previously served as head of cloud for Google Hong Kong.
In another internal move, head of social impact Mehvesh Mumtaz Ahmed will be promoted to the role of vice president of social impact which will “strengthen the brand’s role in sustaining the earth”, according to the company.
Hong Kong-based Rosewood operates luxury, upscale and lifestyle brands such as Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, New World Hotels & Resorts and Khos.
