The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) has appointed a new executive director, Ron DiLeo, who will take up the role on July 1.
According to outgoing president Richard Crum, the appointment took six months to fill. The search had "a strong emphasis on global experience and multinational achievements in the business travel management industry", said Crum.
Currently the principal of In The Black, a consulting practice specializing in travel and business management performance, DiLeo has been a ranking executive in air transport and travel management for more than 30 years.
"ACTE is focused on the future, with ambitious plans for membership growth, program enhancement, and a stronger presence in an industry that demands constant dialogue on a number of levels," said Crum.
"Ron DiLeo is well-known within the profession for his drive, vision, and commitment to performance. We welcome his contribution to the ACTE leadership team."
