Barcelo names new UK director
Barceló Hotels and Resorts has appointed Richard Adler as its new UK commercial director.
Mr Adler joins Barceló from the Real Hotel Company, where he was director of sales, marketing and distribution.
During his 20 year career in the hotel sector, Mr Adler has gained extensive experience in global marketing, sales, public relations and management.
Prior to working for the Real Hotel Company, he spent two years as MD of hospitality and hotels PR agency Rooster Creative.
Mr Adler's experience also includes six years at Thistle Hotels where he was sales and marketing director before becoming director of global and business travel sales.
Mr Adler has also worked for Hilton International, Forte, Radisson Edwardian and Cunard hotels.
