Portman has appointed David Thomas as senior vice president for sales.
Thomas joins the TMC from Opodo business travel where he held the position of head of corporate UK.
He has other experience in the corporate sector, having held senior positions with Odigeo, FcM Travel Solutions and Britannic Travel.
Reporting directly into CCO Adrian Parkes, Thomas takes responsibility of overseeing and further driving Portman’s sales proposition by developing new business opportunities for Portman and its partner Radius Travel.
Parkes said: ““David has extensive management experience and a strong track record in the TMC sector. I am confident David will build on our continuous success and further strengthen our extensive sales offering. He joins at an incredibly exciting time for Portman with new cutting-edge technology at the forefront of our customer proposition.
