Oscar del Campo has taken up the general manager post at Le Méridien Piccadilly, London.
Del Campo was previously based in Vienna, where he was general manager of Hotel Imperial and Hotel Bristol – both part of Starwood’s Luxury Collection portfolio
The German-born Spaniard began his career with Starwood in 1992, as a guest service agent at the Sheraton Skyline Hotel in Heathrow, where he worked his way up to become front office manager.
In 2000 del Campo moved to Spain, to take up his first general manager role at the Arabella Sheraton Golf Hotel Son Vida in Mallorca.
From 2005 onwards, the he managed the Sheraton Frankfurt Hotel & Towers, until May 2007 when he moved to Austria.
