New GM heads to Park Inn Manchester
Neil Raw has been named general manager of the Park Inn Manchester, Victoria.
Mr Raw will be tasked with hiring 100 staff members before the hotel's opening in June, including new heads of department.
Before moving to Manchester, Mr Raw was general manager of the Park Inn hotel in Telford.
The Rezidor Hotel Group (RHG), which owns the Park Inn brand, said Mr Raw had developed Telford "in spite of market trends."
Mr Raw joined RHG when the Langs Hotel in Glasgow, where he was deputy general manager, was taken over in 2007 and rebranded a Park Inn.
Mr Raw started his career in the food and beverage area of hotels before moving on to trainee management at Choice Hotels Europe.
Since then he has held management posts at hotels in Thetford, Sunderland, Edinburgh, Strathclyde and Glasgow.
