Corinthia appoints GM for new London property
Matthew Dixon has been named general manager of the Corinthia Hotel in London, scheduled to open next year.
Before joining Corinthia, Mr Dixon trained at the Savoy and has since worked for Claridges Hotel, London and for Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong and Manila.
He was also general manager of the Hotel de Russie, Rome and Brown's Hotel, London, both part of the Rocco Forte Collection.
From September Mr Dixon will report directly to CHI Hotels and Resorts' ceo and managing director Tony Potter.
