Zara Higgins
Travel management firm ATPI has appointed Zara Higgins as its general manager for Saudi Arabia.
Higgins, who will continue in her new role as ATPI’s global head of energy, will also lead the Arjaa ATPI joint venture with Saudi-based Al Majdouie Group in the key energy-producing country.
In a statement, the TMC said that Higgins will oversee “the delivery of advanced business travel solutions, strategic growth initiatives and the development of a high-performing local team” in Saudi Arabia.
ATPI emphasised that Higgins would become the first female leader of the Arjaa ATPI business and also within the wider corporate travel sector in Saudi Arabia.
Higgins said: “This is an incredible time to be joining the business as Saudi Arabia is a market with significant opportunities, innovation and ambition. My ambition is for Arjaa ATPI to lead the way and transform the business travel sector across the kingdom.’’
Lynn Coutts, ATPI’s managing director for the Middle East, added: “Zara brings a wealth of experience, a strong focus on innovation and a collaborative leadership style that aligns perfectly with our goals in the kingdom.”
ATPI was named as the eighth largest TMC in BTN Europe's rankings of Europe's Leading TMCs 2025, published last week.
