St James's names new MD
St James's Hotel and Club has announced the appointment of Henrik Muehle as managing director.
Mr Muehle will take up the role at the five star Mayfair hotel on June 8.
Mr Muehle joins St James's after seven years as general manager of the Capital and the Levin hotels in Knightsbridge.
He is also currently assistant MD of the Capital Group which includes The London Bakery, 195 Piccadilly and Levin Wines.
St James's recently underwent a multi million pound, 18 month renovation.
Mr Muehle will also be responsible for the development of the Althoff Hotel Collection in the UK.
As well as St James', Althoff also operates the Villa Belrose in St Tropez and the Hotel am Schlossgarten in Stuttgart.
