Penny Healy
FOD Mobility Group has appointed Penny Healy as product director to lead the development of its Mobilleo app.
Healy, who previously worked as a senior app product manager for budget airline easyJet, will be in charge of the product roadmap for the MaaS (mobility as a service) application.
Mobilleo was launched by FOD’s Fleetondemand in October 2018 when it was billed as the world’s first MaaS platform.
The app facilitates the booking of multi-modal travel including ground and air transport, hotels and airport lounges. The company now plans to rebuild the app to expand its functionality and capabilities.
During her time at easyJet, Healy introduced a range of innovations and improvements to the airline’s app which helped boost revenue by 40 per cent year-on-year.
Healy’s appointment comes as FOD goes through a period of rapid growth, including the opening of new offices in Ireland and Germany, with more locations due to be added throughout Europe over the next 12 months.
Justin Whitston, CEO and founder of FOD Mobility Group, said: “I am delighted to welcome Penny into this exciting new role where she will be defining the strategic vision and product roadmap for Mobilleo.
“Penny’s background in developing customer centric apps will be fundamental to the future development and internationalisation of the platform.”
